Project Name: Crossings Campus
Month / Year: March 2024
 
Welcome to the March 2024 construction update for Crossings Campus, located at 8825 National Blvd (Culver City) and 8888 Venice Blvd (Los Angeles).  The project is set to begin demolition activities in March.  

 

Upcoming Work/Closures 

  • Project demolition will start on March 11, 2024. Scope of demo work includes all buildings on the project site, removal of the street frontage, (curb, sidewalk, and landscaping) along National Blvd. Primary project site access will be from Venice Blvd, with limited site access from National Blvd until May 20, 2024. 
  • There will be no impact on the pedestrian path of travel. A covered pedestrian walk way is provided on National Blvd. for the duration of the project.  
  • Project site excavation work is expected to begin during the final week of March 2024. 

Safety 

The project general contractor (Hathaway Dinwiddie) will have personnel on site to ensure these activities are carried out in a safe manner and members of the community are given safe passage.

In response to community feedback, we will be shifting our monthly construction updates to quarterly updates. We will provide intermittent updates in the event there is a construction activity that impacts the surrounding vicinity.
