Green Team

The Green Team Committee has both long-term and short-term projects on its agenda. Short-term projects include: Community Clean-up Days, Tree Plantings, Environmental Town Halls, CFL/Composter/Rain-barrel Giveaway Days and Earth Day Programs among others. Samples of long-term projects are, recycling and solar installation programs, and green business re-development.  The Green Team aims to develop a volunteer base by partnering with other local community green organizations affiliated with schools, parks, churches and temples. The Green Team Committee also partners with the many city departments and officials that exist to assist the community in our green efforts.
