Crossings Campus Construction Update March 2026

Project Name: Crossings Campus
Month / Year: March 2026

We are pleased to provide an update on the Crossings Campus construction project,  located at 8825 National Blvd (Culver City) and 8888 Venice Blvd (Los Angeles). Concrete pours for Building 2 are ongoing at an approximate monthly cadence until June 2026.

 Upcoming Work/Closures

  • Venice Blvd
    • Beginning the week of March 23, 2026, the general contractor will install a new sewer connection to the project site from Venice Blvd, between Curts Ave and Ivy St.  This work will last for 28 days and will require one lane closure at a time along Venice Blvd, starting at the north side of the street and then progressing to the south side of the street. A minimum of two lanes of free-flowing traffic in each direction will be maintained during this scope of work Monday – Friday 9 am -3:30 pm and Saturday 9 am – 5 pm.
    • Additionally, the general contractor will install new electrical infrastructure within Venice Blvd (between National Blvd and Ivy St.) to support the needs of the project and upgrade existing infrastructure to support the needs of the community.  This work will last for 45 days and will be limited to night time hours Monday - Friday 9pm – 5 am.
    • The following mitigation measures will be in place:
      • All street work will be done outside of morning and afternoon rush hours.
      • (2) lanes of traffic will be free flowing at all times during daytime weekday work.
      • All high decibel activities will be performed on Saturdays between 9 am – 5 pm.
      • Night work reduces traffic impacts and reduces schedule by 2 months.
      • All equipment will be supplemented with white noise sensors in lieu of beeping sounds during night hours.
    • Saturday work may require occasional vehicular detours.  We will follow up with a courtesy notice ahead of a Saturday closure to confirm detour routes.
