For life-threatening situations, fires or crimes in progress, or serious crimes that have just occurred, call 911.
For most park crimes and violations, call West LA Front Desk. It may take a while—but don't give up.
If you see or are the victim of a crime, it is extremely important that you report it to the LAPD. They can't dedicate more resources to our area if they don't know what's going on. You can file a report on the phone or in person—or you can use one of the anonymous tip lines: 1-800-222-TIPS (8477)or lacrimestoppers.org
Non-emergency crime reports and general questions: 877-275-5273 (877-ASK-LAPD) • LAPDOnline.org
For general non-emergency City services, call 311, use the City's online reporting form, or download the City's MyLA311 smartphone app (available for iPhone and Android).
To report illegal parking in the area surrounding a park, call LA Department of Transportation Parking Enforcement at 213-485-4184 option 2.
Note: while a Parking Officer may issue a citation for any violation, homeowners must show an ID to the Parking Officer before a car blocking a driveway can be towed. Cars illegally parked in a driveway will only be towed if a sign prohibiting illegal parking is displayed on the property.
