Aggravated Assault
No incidents reported.

Robbery
August 22, 2024, at approximately 1500 hours: On the 9400 block of Hargis Street, the victim was
working in the yard when a suspect approached, brandishing a handgun in their waistband and
demanded the victim's belongings. The suspect then took the victim’s edge trimmer and fled.
Surveillance footage revealed an additional suspect stealing a leaf blower from the victim’s van.
Burglary – Residential
August 20, 2024, at approximately 1510 hours: On the 10600 block of Cushdon Avenue, three suspects
arrived in a dark-colored Mazda SUV and entered the victim’s backyard. The suspects kicked in the glass
door, causing it to shatter. Upon hearing the victim scream from inside, the suspects fled the scene.
Burglary – Commercial
August 15, 2024: Near La Cienega Boulevard and David Avenue, two suspects smashed the rear door of
a commercial building, removed a safe, and carried it outside. When building security approached, the
suspects dropped the safe and fled. The safe was later recovered by officers.
August 18, 2024, at approximately 0030 hours: On the 8800 block of Venice Boulevard, a suspect
smashed a business’s glass door, entered the closed business, stole several items, and fled. The suspect
was apprehended nearby and arrested for commercial burglary.
August 18, 2024, at approximately 0247 hours: On the 8900 block of Pico Boulevard, a suspect pried
open the garage door of an auto repair business and stole vehicle diagnostics equipment.

Grand Theft Automobile
August 13, 2024, at approximately 1030 hours: On the 1400 block of Roxbury Drive, a 2015 Fiat 500 was
stolen from the street.
August 19, 2024, during the morning hours: On the 10500 block of Esther Avenue, a 2003 Chevy S10
Pickup was stolen from the street. The vehicle was recovered two days later in the Rampart Division.

Burglary / Theft from Motor Vehicle
August 15, 2024, during nighttime hours: On the 2500 block of Overland Avenue, a laptop was stolen
from a vehicle parked on the street.
August 15, 2024, during nighttime hours: On the 1400 block of Rexford Drive, license plates were stolen
from a vehicle parked on the street.

Theft
No incidents reported beyond commercial thefts.
