Aggravated Assault
September 23, 2024, at approximately 1540 hours: On the 8500 block of Venice Blvd, A transient victim
reported hearing an argument between his friend and another transient. Upon intervening, the victim
was assaulted by the suspect, who produced a knife and inflicted two stab wounds to the victim’s leg.
The victim retreated from the scene, while the suspect fled.
September 27, 2024, at approximately 2154 hours: Near Venice and La Cienega, Officers were involved
in a pursuit of a stolen vehicle. During the chase, the suspect deliberately rammed a police vehicle,
resulting in injury and disabling the vehicle. The suspect was subsequently apprehended.

Robbery

Burglary – Residential
September 26, 2024, at approximately 0430 hours: On the 2900 block of Manning Ave, the suspect
broke into the victim’s vehicle, and stole two garage door openers. The suspect then accessed the
garage, although it is unclear whether the home was entered through an unsecured door. The suspect
fled the scene, and DNA swabs were collected for analysis.
September 28, 2024, at approximately 1050 hours: On the 1100 block of Swall Dr, two suspects forcibly
broke the rear glass door of a residence and ransacked the interior. It remains unclear if any property
was taken. The victim observed the suspects leaving in an SUV.
