Crossings Campus Construction Update- February 2025

We are pleased to provide an update on the Crossings Campus construction project, located at 8825 National Blvd (Culver City) and 8888 Venice Blvd (Los Angeles). Excavation of Building 1 is complete and Building 2 excavation is will be complete by March. Concrete pouring activities are ongoing for the next several months at both buildings.

Upcoming Work/Closures

Eastbound lanes on Venice Blvd will be closed beginning Saturday, February 22 at 6:00 AM will be re-opened Tuesday, February 25 at 6:00 AM. This will allow the general contractor to safely erect the tower crane. Eastbound vehicles will be detoured along National Blvd in both north and south directions and routed back to Venice Blvd at Cattaraugus Ave and La Cienega Ave, respectively. There will be electronic message boards posted in the area to remind neighbors of the upcoming closure. Additionally, there will be signage along the detour routes during the closure. See below Detour Map as approved by LADOT.

Building 1 concrete pouring is ongoing under the extended construction hours temporary use permit and pouring days continue to commence at 2:00AM for (15) separate days until the end of May 2025 at an approximate bi-weekly cadence.
Building 2 concrete pouring at the subterranean levels will commence on February 14, 2025 and will continue until July 2025 at an approximate bi-weekly cadence.

Safety

The project general contractor (Hathaway Dinwiddie) will have personnel on site to ensure these activities are carried out in a safe manner and members of the community are given safe passage.
